During my recent stay at Hotel San Francisco Plaza in Guadalajara, I was delighted by its prime location, just a short stroll away from the city’s most iconic attractions, including the vibrant Plaza de los Mariachis. The beautifully decorated shared spaces transported me to a charming era, although I did notice some areas that could benefit from a little TLC. Our spacious room was a true sanctuary, boasting a large bed and sound-proof windows for a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. I was especially impressed by the attentive staff, particularly Juan at the front desk, whose local knowledge enriched our visit with helpful recommendations for the best tequila tours and dining spots. Dining at Casuales Don Quijote was a highlight; the homemade Mexican cuisine showcased regional flavors that delighted our palates while we enjoyed the lovely terrace overlooking a tranquil fountain. The hotel beautifully merges relaxation and adventure, perfect for travelers seeking both serenity and vibrant cultural experiences. Hotel San Francisco Plaza offers exceptional value for those looking to immerse themselves in Guadalajara’s splendor while enjoying comfort and thoughtful amenities.
